Therefore, this should encourage players to buy ranged units often to fend off ghosts. Plus, it makes things challenging: slimes were big victim while for even lv3 wolves: 105 (wolf's atk) - 10 (ghost's physical def) = 95 ÷ 2 (melee defender) = 47.5 (47 since the system round down the decimal) Therefore, lv0 skeleton vs lv3 ghost: 40 (skeleton's atk) - 25 (ghost's p def) = 15 ÷ 2 (melee defender) = 7.5 (7 as the decimal was rounded down) The most important reason is because of its destroyer skill. As its job was to attack house defenders, this should help to whack the likes of berserker, golem and slimes a lot. But against dragons: 70 (lv0 dragon's atk) - 35 (lv3 ghost's magic def) = 35 ÷ 2 = 17.5 (17 due to decimal omitted) and then 17 × 1.5 = 25.5 (25 because of system ruling and dragons have melee master skill) So if the dragon is lv3: 100 - 35 = 65 ÷ 2 = 32 × 1.5 = 48
