First of all credits for great game. I'm not sure if it supposed to be like that but in mission "Rescue Dragons!" of third campaign "Battle for Thorin prequel" computer have big advantage on the start of the map. And it uses it without any doubt. Not only it have more troops on start, but also it have privilege of first money earn turn, 4 or 5 villages captured. So its quite sad that computer buys not twice, but three times more troops in just 5 turns. I tried this mission like 50 times, never had a slight chance against computer.
Maybe I'm wrong and it supposed to be as hard as it is. But hey, maybe you could try it on your own and help me with first couple rounds to battle it in proper way.

Hello there, For this stage your first priority is to kill the enemy catapult really quick. Even if you sacrifice your golem to kill the catapult it is still worth. After you kill it your life will be much better. Things you need to do after killing enemy catapult: Phase 1: Enemy catapult is destroyed but you are still in disadvantage What you want to do: Try to win the lane. You can do this by recruiting some archers and a sorceress. Spirits also recommended. Phase 2: After you successfully gain advantage in the lane What you want to do: Invade enemy villages and try to push them back. For push the lane we strongly suggest you recruit some wolves. Things to keep in mind: - Spirits are the best weapon against skeletons and also the only healers you have. Try to protect them from enemy archers.
- The best tank you have in this stage: your commander and golems (which also have good crowd control). Try to use them wisely.

Thank you for your advices. I've passed this mission after several times trying it yesterday. I tried my best to kill catapult, but allways I was losing to much units after destroying it. Also computer was using his advantage of money gain and recruiting to much staff. My idea was to low catapult health to minimum (10-15hp) and then try to low other units hp as well, before computer will buy new people. Also he couldn't buy beacuase of alive catapult which blocked his unit space. I made it to point where i had equal units on map (15/20) and almost equal money. After that computer made several mistakes. Like not buying 1 more catapult or more wolfs/spirits. It bought like 3-4 archers and couple soldiers instead.  Well after all i understood my mistakes. This game have diffrent mechanics and i like it. Slowly but growly I'm getting it.  |
